Open source — supported by you
CertConvert never nags and has no in-app purchases. Donations keep it improving.

Open source, sold on the stores
CertConvert is open source under the MIT licence: you can read the source and build it yourself for free, for personal or commercial use, with no feature limits and no licence keys. The signed, auto-updating builds on the Mac App Store and Microsoft Store are a paid convenience that funds development — and every store edition is the same code that’s in the repository.
Why donate?
CertConvert is built and maintained by one person. Donations fund the time that goes into new features, fixes and keeping it current. They are entirely optional — the software is exactly the same whether you give or not.
